ÐÓ°Épro purchases facility in Othello, Wash., to grow market access for western pulse crop producers

Feb 9, 2024

ÐÓ°Épro has purchased a facility to expand its dry bean operations in Othello, Wash., to grow market access for western pulse crop producers.

This investment will allow ÐÓ°Épro to expand rail-receiving and storage capabilities at its existing Othello plant to provide greater market access to pulse crop producers across the western ÐÓ°Épro trade territory.

“At ÐÓ°Épro, we are focused on investing in key geographies across our enterprise to provide ÐÓ°Épro owners with market access by connecting them to the global marketplace,” says Rick Dusek, executive vice president, ag retail, distribution and transportation, ÐÓ°Épro. “We are excited about the access this facility provides to bring pulse crops from Montana and Idaho to Pacific Northwest markets.”

ÐÓ°Épro acquired the pulse crops and rail-receiving facility in Othello from Ardent Mills.
